Second Assignment

Once I got the proper layers up in the data frame it was smooth sailing to complete the map displayed here. I must have moved or generally messed up something while working on the other ArcCatalog exercises because when I tried to open Ex 4c only one layer (flight path) showed. The other layers did not have check marks next to them, but there was a red exclamation mark next to the boxes where the check marks usually live. After much trial and error to correct this plus some advice from the help desk, I closed the program, took a break, came back to start from scratch and Ex 4c opened without a hitch! Not sure what happened there; just happy it's done now. Off to do some reading in Chapter 2.
